We now require all Volunteers to read and then sign off as having read it.

A folder containing the Constitution and Sign Off Sheet is on the table in the Kitchen/Lounge area.

Chairman David Walshaw presented his report which has now been placed on the Documents page along with the financial reports.

Those attending were very positive about the progress made at our station over the last 18 months thanks to an active group of committee members and presenters. Of course this would not be possible without the support of our many sponsors. A big thank you to all.

The station is now in a strong financial position, paying all its bills promptly and with a cushion in the bank, thanks Treasurer Michael.

Some innovations for the future include on-site presenter programs until 9.00PM with nights covered by pre-prepared programs and sponsorship spots throughout the 24hrs.

A local news spot will take the place of the satellite news that was primarily eastern states. The SE Voice newspaper (big thanks to editor/owner Lechelle Earl) has agreed to sponsor the use of selected news items in place of the satellite. In addition to news being more local the station is able to avoid the fees required for the current service.

As you’ve discovered we’re on air once more, 107.7MHz FM on the dial, in addition to Internet streaming.

Let us know what you like in the way of music and we’ll try to accommodate. We’d also enjoy putting to air notice of events your club may be organising.

In future we hope to try some sporting broadcasts, but that will wait until we’re fully organised and the facilities are ready.
